    Emma Jameson has done it again. Her characters are warm and funny and completely human. She got me on this one! I was convinced I had solved it then that twist at the end.... well played, Miss Emma, well played.

    I love a good British mystery, especially those set during the war. Much like Agatha Christy, the characters can be rather quirky but very entertaining.

    I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I liked this story. The characters were fun and it kept you guessing. It was interesting to see Ben's reaction to lady Juliet, especially when she could carry him sounds in the beginning.

    The setting of the story being WWII, was a different period for me, but the characters made it pretty interesting. Dr. Ben was caring and compassionate and Juliet is quirky and you like them both.
