Bush pilot and family man Tom Stokes is about to face the worst day of his life. On a clear winter morning he sets out in his Cessna 180 to do some repairs on a remote hunt camp, leaving his five year old son and very pregnant wife snug in their beds.

    This author is now one of my favorites. Fast paced with some unique gritty or funny scenes. His characters come alive. Very dramatic. I read it in just a few days because I picked it up every spare minute that I had. I'm looking forward to reading his next one.

    I didn't read this nonstop. I took my time. Which is something else for me. Butt was worth it to savor the moments. If you do not like suspenseful story telling by all means do not read this book. I do and Sean gave me lots of those moments!

    Not my usual type of book to read, but it was free. A really good book, I read through as quickly as I could swipe on my IPad. A really great writer as well and will be looking for more by him.
