    The author not only did not write in the style of Jane Austen (which she admitted), but she did not write with a feel of the age in which the story took place.

    This book was a page turner for me. Do not expect the Austen style of writing. I picked it up out of curiosity being an Austen fan. I felt some things were overdone and others under. It was interesting to see how someone else pictured Georgiana. The only true disappointment for me was it ended a little abrupt for my taste.

    Was worries it wouldn't live up to even close to P&P but it was a great addition. True characters and great writing made it truly enjoyable. Starting book 2 today!

    I would have given this book 5 stars if the author had used her own characters. it's interesting and well written and moves along with just the right amount of detail. why take characters from a famous and beloved author when you write as well as this author writes. use your own characters. it is also one of the best edited self published books I've read.

    My only critique is that this book is too short! I was instantly captivated by this book. Being able to read on about a Jane Austen character and see the timeless Miss Bennet and Darcy through the eyes of Darcy's sister is liberating! My only happiness after finishing this book is that the series has two more books. And I look forward to the possibility of more as well!
