    The prequel to the Assassin is well written. The killer is portrayed in a believable fashion. This thriller is fast-moving and filled with action and blood. Patrick Phoenix Az. and Chapala, Mx.

    This well written novel contains very violent and graphic scenes throughout and is not suitable for children or teens. That being said, the author showed great understanding of the inner workings of drug cartels.

    The author developed the main character and wove some plot into the story. Then he abuses the reader with an unsatisfying, abrupt ending that was almost like he got tired of writing and just wrapped things up in one page. It's a good book, not great, until the ending when just bombs. I'll probably not buy or read any further titles under this author.

    Amateurish, gratuitous, and anyone that doesn't know the difference between an ex marine and a former marine shouldn't be writing novels.
  • Incomplete chapters

    The story line is very good. A young man falls in and out of love. He is thirsty for knowledge and gaining military/fighting experience. He quickly becomes a top assassin. The negative is open ended sentences and ideas at the ends of several chapters and some duplicate last pages. Despite that, it was still enjoyable reading.
