    It started out interesting, but after a while I realized I disliked all the characters, and wished they would all come to a bad end (except for the children, of course.) Just when I started to have a bit of sympathy for a character, it was dashed by the next plot twist. This novel was way too all over the place. I really wanted to like it.

    Great examples of dysfunctional families and people without a moral compass! But if you like to have at least one character that you care about, have empathy for, or just like then look elsewhere.
