    Good story with nice character development. The spousal abuse elements were violent, so caution should be taken if those scenes will upset any readers. The love stories and friendships make a good counterpoint, and I was certainly rooting for a happy ending. Nicely done. I'm not a hockey fan, but maybe I'll become one! Definitely will read more from this author.

    This book started out great, however it just kept dragging on and on and on and on and you get it. The author tried to have too many different stories happening at once and failed miserably. There was so much jumping around from person to person that I found myself quickly losing interest. Multiple stories can be pulled off within a book but it is not easy and should be avoided for the most part. I couldn't finish it. Don't waste the space it'll take up on your tablet.

    Got this first book in the series as a deal from Bookbub. Absolutely loved it and immediately looked to buy the second book. Unfortunately it is only available on kindle. I wanted to continue on so much and follow these wonderful characters that I downloaded the kindle app to my iPad so I could get books 2 and 3!! I'll be starting book 2--Drake as soon as I'm done with this review! This book is great! Two main protagonists with demons to face, supporting characters with their own issues, an interesting storyline that is well developed. The author does a fantastic job fleshing out these characters and writing them as real human beings that the reader can't help but become invested in. Setting the whole thing in the world of hockey makes it that much more enjoyable and allows for some intriguing ways to develop the story and realistically create the precipitating events that bring on the crisis for the characters. Highly recommend this book, series and author. I can only hope there are A LOT of players on this team she wants to write about!!

    I tried to get into this book but I just couldn't, there where parts where is seemed like it could be better than it just made me angry. Why would u constantly keep commenting about an ABUSE victims weight multiple times really even once after the night she was abused like come on? Did this author even do research on stuff. Completely ridiculous. Will never read from her again.

    This story unfolds like a modern fairy tale. The author does a good job of tackling serious subject matter without sugar coating anything. Some situations are a little far fetched but it's a romance and that is to be expected. Overall this book is engaging and thoughtfully planned out.. The sex scenes were inventive and practically written.

    This is wonderful story, a second chance, Cinderella story! I just couldn't stop reading, somehow afraid of what would come after but a lovely happily ever after!
